Competitive Debate Platform & Case Management
CodeSquad built Debate Partners a case-generation and CRM platform for competitive debate — turning source research into evidence-backed cases while managing teams, coaches, and subscriptions in one system.
Competitive debate platform

- Billing and subscriptions handled in one platform
How Debate Partners Turned Research Into Ready-to-Run Cases
Debate Partners needed to help teams and coaches turn raw research into competition-ready cases, but that process was almost entirely manual.
Building a case meant cross-referencing sources by hand, compiling evidence packets, and tracking citations separately from the case itself — slow work that didn't scale across multiple formats like Policy, LD, and Public Forum.
Managing debate teams and coaches sat in a different system entirely from the case-building work, and subscriptions and billing were handled separately again.
Without a connected platform, coaches were spending more time assembling paperwork than coaching.
A connected system designed around the way the team actually works.
CodeSquad built Debate Partners a connected case-generation and team-management platform.
CodeSquad built a system that analyzes and cross-references source documents automatically, generates debate cases with evidence packets and citations attached, and supports multiple competitive formats out of the box. A CRM keeps teams and coaches organized, and subscription management and billing run through the same platform — turning case research, team management, and billing into one system instead of three.
Stack: document analysis/cross-referencing + AI case generation + CRM + subscription billing.
What the system does.
“Excellent developing a complex AI-driven application from scratch, over an extended period of time.”— Michael, Debate Partners
Debate Partners no longer treats case-building as a manual research project — sources are analyzed and turned into evidence-backed cases automatically, in the format each team competes in.
Coaches manage their teams, cases, and subscriptions from one platform, and the case library has grown significantly since launch.
